The Partners User Group (referred to throughout as Partners) is an independent non-profit corporation incorporated in the state of Nebraska and sponsored by Teradata. It exists to optimize the business relationships between Teradata and its customers to the benefit of each.

Partners is made up of thousands of Teradata customers active in data warehousing and its associated technologies and products. Its members come together annually to share their experiences, successes, and challenges at the Teradata PARTNERS User Group Conference & Expo.

Partners is governed by a customer steering committee, which also acts as the Board of Directors of the non-profit corporation, as well as a number of sub-committees as designated by the Directors.

The committees that exist under the Partners umbrella are the Product Advisory Council (PAC), the Analytical Applications Product Advisory Council (AAPAC), the Service Focus Team (SFT), and the Partners Steering Committee. The PAC represents the voice of the customer and works with Teradata to provide product feedback and suggestions. The AAPAC is similar to the PAC but focuses specifically on Teradata’s analytical products and solutions. The SFT helps ensure the relationship between the customers and Teradata remains a top priority and that the needs of the customer for services are well represented. Finally, the Partners Steering Committee is the overall coordinating arm of Partners, overseeing the other committees, and organizing and managing the annual user group conference.

Steering Committee

Product Advisory Council
The Product Advisory Council (PAC) was formed to work closely with Teradata to
gather customer requirements—both short-and long-term—and to focus on key product

The AAPAC consists of license holders and end-users who come together to provide insight into new business strategies, processes, and functionality with an eye towards adding business value to the analytical applications.
